Our Wires come insulated with specially formulated flame retardant (FR) / flame retardant low smoke (FRLS) / zero halogen flame retardant (ZHFR) PVC compounds. These compounds have a special Fire Retardant property that not only prohibit burning of Wires but also help in retarding its burning rate and also emit negligibly small smoke.

Many hazards pertaining to fire cause severe damage to life & property. The harmful chemical used in conventional lead-sheathed wire often becomes suffocative in any mis-happening not only for the crowd but also for fire fighters, due to presence of halogen contents in them. They are injurious not only to mankind but also majorly affect our biodiversity. Since the problem is of great concern & needs preventive measures, So, Skyda manufactures its cable with the Best Quality Raw Materials. This provides sustainable environment to live because they do not contain halogen-based elements such as chlorine, which constitute the basis of the generation of hazardous substances, or heavy metals such as lead.

We manufacture our wires from bright annealed pure bare copper conductors that offer low conductor resistance. Since conductor sizing also greatly affects the efficiency of a wire or a cable, so we use optimized conductor size. If the conductor is too small, the product will operate at elevated temperatures. This is because smaller cross sectional area of conductor provides more resistance to the flow of electricity. This increases the conductor temperature and thus more heat loss. This also becomes the main reason for any Electric Short Circuit. This causes the insulation and jacketing material to degrade and fail sooner when operated at elevated temperatures. As the conductor temperature rises, more energy is lost in the form of heat. This electrical energy could be put to use performing an important operation. The hotter the conductor runs, the more energy is lost as heat and the less efficient the electrical equipment will be.

A Shielded or Screened Instrumentation Cable is an electrical cable of one or more electrical conductors enclosed by common conductive layers. The shield may be composed of braided strands of copper, a non-braided spiral winding of copper/mylar tape or a layer of polymer. Usually this shield is covered with a jacket. The shield minimizes capacitive complex noise from other electrical sources. In shielded signal cables, the shield may act as the return path for the signal or may act as a screening only. The offered Cables have stranded annealed copper conductor, PVC/XLPE insulated, HR extruded PVC inner sheathed, round galvanised steel wire armoured and overall HR extruded PVC sheathed.
